The interesting part starts after the idea.
A programme for early-stage founders, SMEs and individuals who have spotted a problem that needs solving. We set aside part of our development capacity for it. The Foundry is separate from our products, which we develop in-house: it exists mainly for ideas that come from outside.
We bring the engineering.
Some ideas need capital. Others mostly need someone to build the first version. That is where we come in, with development, product design, research and infrastructure. We do not provide funding.
This is not an agency
No rates, quotes or packages: we do not take on bespoke work. We choose which problems we look into, and we may decline any that are submitted to us.
Selection is discretionary
Submitting a problem does not guarantee that we will take it on. Most submissions will not become projects.
Outcomes vary
Some experiments go no further. Some are made freely available. Others become products, partnerships or independent companies.
What a project can become
We investigate the problem and build a prototype.
The result is useful enough to make public.
Some work is made available free of charge or as open source, where that makes sense.
A project can become a commercial product owned by Amelys.
Where the person who proposed the project is substantially involved, we can reach an agreement with them.
A project that grows large enough can become a brand or a company in its own right.
Some projects fail. We leave the page up and say what we learned.
The log
Every project we have opened, whatever happened to it.
Currently building
Agreements that hold, wherever the other party is
An end-to-end document chain in which commitment, identity and proof form a single act that holds up as evidence, whatever the jurisdiction. More when it opens.
Finding the right match for a strategic deal, without going public
Confidential intermediation for strategic transactions: buyers, sellers and advisers meet without exposure, until the moment they choose. More when it opens.
Notes with contextual intelligence
Multimodal capture paired with a reasoning layer: context is modelled, weak points surface on their own and every summary adapts to its reader. More when it opens.
Turning dormant stock into liquidity, from one market to another
A mesh of interconnected import-export marketplaces where unsold goods and dormant stock find buyers, through sale or offsetting. More when it opens.
A coaching ecosystem, from first contact to follow-up
An ecosystem that brings clients and coaches together around shared tools, built on the French regulatory framework and designed for continuity of support. More when it opens.
Tell us about a problem worth solving.
You do not need a pitch or a specification. Just describe a problem that comes up often enough to be worth fixing. If we find it interesting, we may decide to look into it.
